I'm David McPhee, Ph.D, providing informal consulting and educational services for psychotherapists and life coaching for everybody. I was trained as a psychologist and had 30 years experience. These days I don't provide health care such as formal psychotherapy or evaluations, or other services requiring an active license. (I do provide personal coaching and consultation for psychotherapists. Details on my my resume page and the coaching page.) I was first licensed in Minnesota and have a Psychologist Emeritus certificate from there., and later in Arizona -- now inactive because I don't live there any more. I think I'll retire it later in 2025. I spent the last year writing a book -- you'll see it down below all the writing.
These days I provide my services for free, but I do ask people I work with in personal coaching and therapist consultation to make a donation to a grass roots charity I support. I still love being useful. (See the For Therapists and Coaching sections of the website for details.) Donation guidelines are under the "Coaching" section.
Feel free to explore my resume and other details up top, where you'll find links to my work and how to reach out. You can email me directly at david.jaidee@gmail.com and for more on the book, visit https://getthemostfromyourtherapy.net.
I also write for Quora, where I've had nearly 300 million content views and over 100,000 followers (http://www.quora.com/profile/David-McPhee-Ph-D). Last time I checked, I was the top writer in psychotherapy.
I do love writing, and it led to my new book, Get the Most From Your Therapy: A Guide For Everyone, edited by Maria Pocsai-Faglin (see below for a description).
