INFORMAL, GENERAL DISCUSSIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL CASES
David provides educational hypothetical case discussion for psychologists and other psychotherapists, on an informal basis.
Please note that David is likely in a time zone different from yours. David's legal residence is Minnesota, but he frequently travels in Asia. As a convenience to international therapists, David schedules all appointments using ICT, or Indochina Time, so you'll have to translate that to your time zone, and don't forget Daylight Savings Time -- which doesn't affect ICT.
Please also note David's schedule is often full but if you don't mind being on a waiting list, do contact us with questions, and we'll be happy to put you on a waiting list. For scheduling, please contact David's associate, psychotherapist Nicholas O'Madden, who can answer just about any question. nickomadden@yahoo.com. Of course you can contact David too, davidmcpheephd@gmail.com. Nick handles all scheduling and donations.
David is available for educational conversations with psychotherapists met on Quora or other media. David doesn't charge for his services, and psychotherapists make a donation to a charity he supports. Nick can explain the details.
Although this service has been incorrectly called “supervision,” it is not supervisory or administrative in any way and simply means looking at hypothetical cases together informally. In no way does it suggest that David takes on any responsibility for any clinician, client or case: indeed clients and cases are typically presented hypothetically or as composites, with no identifying information, as bases for informal educational discussions.
David prefers regularly scheduled conservations, typically weekly or bi-weekly for a period of time, vs. ad-hoc sessions. There is also a monthly group session for practicing psychotherapists, run by the members.
David's informal discussants also meet as a group, at least once a month, and for various educational programs taught by David and others, for example in clinical hypnosis.
Group members also communicate with each other in a sometimes very active thread on LINE app, discussing hypothetical cases and other practice-related issues. There are also several special interest subgroups.
Scheduling and donation arrangements are handled by Nicholas O'Madden nickomadden@yahoo.com.

The charity is Project WIN. www.project-vin.blogspot.com. New users can go to the first page of this site and click on the tab under the “Make a Gift” for instructions. Once you are established we will charge your credit card for the amount you have decided to donate per session. Other services require no donation expect for the occasional formal group training classes.
